Catalina live-in maid who works for Tommy's family in the story there are a lot of situation that shows how she is very close to them, as if she is one of the family, one of the situation that prove it is when she encourage Tommy to be nicer with girls, she said :" you are a handsome guy and all girls likes you" she also payed for his health and i should also mention that she is the one who took are of George and Tommy whenever they were sick. all this situation tell us how deep Catalina's feeling where toward the family. the family also consider Catalina as a family, they did a lot of  things to make her feel like that such us : moving all furniture they don't need to her house, they also buy to her anything they bought it to them self. Catalina and the family all felt the same to each other they all felt just like a family
